Scénariste et photographe, elle met en scène la photographie dans une série monochrome intitulée Écrans.
Les thématiques qu’elle développe s’attachent à une réflexion autour du statut de l’image, notamment l’image cinématographique. Une narration/fiction du quotidien ; comment réinventer notre réel à travers des formes, des objets du banal. Comment poétiser le réel pour nous permettre de l’appréhender dans sa globalité.
 
Avec Écrans, elle souhaite interroger notre rapport aux images, au récit. Ces photographies sont des images du réel qui convoquent la fiction. Chaque photogramme monochrome fonctionne de manière autonome et nous plongent dans une possible histoire, une narration de cinéma. Implicitement chacune de ses photographies porte sa séquence, elle active un récit qui la dépasse.
 
L’image n’est plus un document, elle recèle du poétique, du fictionnel. Ainsi, l’image fixe devenant écran de cinéma ; l’image écran.
Elle valide en 2017 à l’ENSP le diplôme de la formation continue « développer et diffuser son projet d’auteur ».

Armelle Sèvre makes her American night :

Screenwriter and photographer, she stages photography in a monochrome series entitled Screens.

The themes she develops are attached to a reflection on the status of the image, particularly the cinematographic image. A narration/fiction of the everyday; how to reinvent our reality through forms, objects of the banal. How to poetize the real to allow us to apprehend it in its globality.

With Écrans, she wishes to question our relationship to images, to narrative. These photographs are images of the real that summon fiction. Each monochrome photogram functions autonomously and plunges us into a possible story, a cinema narrative. Implicitly each of his photographs carries its own sequence, it activates a narrative that goes beyond it.

The image is no longer a document, it conceals the poetic, the fictional. Thus, the still image becoming a cinema screen; the screen image.

She validates in 2017 at the ENSP the diploma of the continuing education "develop and disseminate its authorial project".
