June Stolian is a visual artist, he lives in Paris. After studying film at university, June Stolian plunged into the digital and virtual world. For more than 10 years, he produced 3D computer graphics for video games, television and architecture.
To reverse this purely computerized creative process, he now uses real materials (fabrics, plastics, diverted objects) and carries out manual creation and transformation work to stage the models in his studio.
His photographs are not retouched, only colours and light are transformed and pushed to their limits to create ultra contemporary images. We then witness a struggle between shapes and colours, a struggle between reality and pixels.
